My 7-08 loves Barnes ttsx 120 gr

I can tell you that neither my savage axis nor stevens model 200 like them. Best factory I’ve ever found are the Winchester ballistic silver tips but they are extremely hard to find.

If your Stevens 7-08 is like mine the twist rate is 1:11.5 which will work best with a 120 gr projectile. Anything much heavier will not stabilize.

Junk ammo IMO. I have 3 7mm 08's and it is by far the worst Ive ever shot.. Scuds all over the place.
