    Need a cheek rest

I am still setting up a Ruger 10/22. II put an Arken SHJ4 scope on it, and it sits a little too high to get a decent cheek weld with the factory stock.(that may be changed out at a later date, but not yet) Whats a decent (stick on-I guess to not affect or permanently mar the wood) cheek rest for it?
Oh, and it needs to be useable for a lefty

I’ve had one from Triad Tactical (Triad Stock Pack) on a 22-250 for several years now with no issues. You simply add or remove the provided strips of material from the underside of the riser to meet your needs. I have no complaints. That being said, there are quite a few out there that appear to be made the same. The one I have has internal ammo loops which I prefer. You obviously won’t need those anyways for 22LR.

I have one of these for a wooden stock I didn't want to modify. It is adjustable and holds tight to the stock. Comes in a lot of custom colors or graphics of your choice. I spoke with him before I ordered it. And found the quality of the product to be great. Lots of sythetic looks. Underside is lined with a fabric that won't stick to your stock. Fabric also reduces felt shock. The stock I put it on was for a 1967 Win 70 wood. And the scope is a Night Force XN8, in a PERP mount, so I can move it to different platforms. Mine looks like embossed leather. But is not. Looks very nice on the wood. And gets my eye/cheek up perfect.

Made and owned by veterans. "Made in the Mother F****** USA" is the moto.

I also have a Triad Tactical and like it. Bought it to use on a sporterized 303 Enfield that was my Dads only deer rifle. It works great for me.

I too use a stock pack (on many of my rifles), to obtain the proper height/cheek weld as well as to carry essential gear (spare ammo, lens cloth, allen wrench for scope turrets, dope cards, etc.). Simply place some foam padding under it before cinching down to obtain the height needed. There are many brands of stock packs that work equally well.
