Similar to others if I could only have 3-4
    .223/5.56 14.5" Pinned and Welded or 16"
    .308 bolt gun
    .22LR 10/22 or bolt gun
9MM pistol that you can conceal and shoot well.

As for securing them, I would likely have a strong box / job box in my truck so they were always with me. If hunting is the only consideration you could drop the .223.

I like the storage part of this this idea but as far as the guns go I need a shotgun for birdhunting/turkey. I like two different centerfire rifles. A 308 can work for everything but the 223 is a much better varmint/small game rifle like prairie dogs. For some reason I have it in my head the guns need to be stored in the RV but it would make more sense if possible to secure them in the truck and always have them you with the exception of extreme heat which isn't great on some guns and ammo.

        I'll go with a 17HMR, a bolt 308, berretta semi 12 gauge and a 9mm handgun.

On long trips I carry more than most of these lists. Between on my self my truck and the trailer I pack pretty heavy. I tell my wife just incase the world goes to hell while we’re gone. Might have to shoot our way home. I guess if your a full timer you wouldn’t have to worry about getting home.

I think I could get by with my 10mm topped with a Vortex Venom red dot and a NAA 22mag along with my longbow

I bought my brother in law and dad both a safe for this very reason. I was a young gypsy chasing work anywhere it paid well. Both them both large gun safes so I could store a handful of nice firearms at each place, plus kept a gun or two at various buddies places across the state, and 2-3 with me in my travels!

You only need 1 gun. Remington 870 Magnum 3" 12 gauge. Smooth bore. Get a rifled choke and a saddle scope mount. Deer, hogs, any bird, any small game or big game out to 150 yards.
