    New EDC, Hope it's good!

Oofffff, this is sexy! Needed a new EDC so I went to Hill Country Hides in Campwood, Tx and got a great deal on this new Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 Metal with all the goodies!

First pistol with a Red Dot so let the learning curve begin!

Nice ! Both my M&Ps wear red dots. I especially like the Holosun on my 10mm with the circle/dot reticle. Picking up the dot is a short curve, just look at the sights and you find the dot. You’re gonna love it !

Nice pistol. Red dot learning curve isn’t as bad as some would have you believe. Dry fire will take care of most of it.

Nice but don't go shooting a bunch of +P ammo in it. Stay with standard and lower power ammo. Even 9mm nato is not recommended as a steady diet.

Took it out back for its first shots yesterday evening.....couldn't hit the sky if I tried! Was shooting at a volleyball I have laying on the ground and for the life of me could not hit it at 10-15yrds with the Red Dot?.?.?

So today I went to my gun range out back of my property and shot at an actual Human silhouette target. 15 yards away I hit a foot high but consistent, ****!!!

Walked it down with 3 round intervals adjusting the Red Dot as I went. Took 30 rounds at 3 round intervals to get it down on the 10 consistently. Was only a couple clicks left so that was easy to adjust.

Besides that, it's such a nice shooter. With the Red dot and full size tac light on the front rail, it's nice and heavy. Feels like a smaller size caliber compared to my other little pocket size 9mms

Now to get it sighted in at 25 and tightened up. Looking forward to the first 1000 rounds

According to Smith and Wesson, this 2.0 Metal and other 2.0 M&Ps can withstand and shoot +P specifically. Says Do not use +P+ but standard and +P is fine in this frame and set up when chambered in 9mm Luger
