Best optics for 45-70 rifle,

Looking for advice and opinions for my 45-70. either a standard style scope or a Holosun type scope.

match the scope to the range of the gun. I have a 444 Marlin with a fixed 4X and it is perfect.

X4 I’m running that exact leupold on an 1895G
a 1-6 is a better option but twice the money. That vx3 has done well.

i used a Burris 1.5x5 post cross hair on mine,,,, great combination I sighted off the tip of the post and dropped down to the cross hairs for longer shots,,, still have the scope but let someone talk me out of the 45-70,,

I use a Leupold fixed 2.5x on my 1895GS. Killed a hog at 160yds with it last month.
