Bolt Action AR

I am looking to build or buy my 7 year old son a bolt action AR platform rifle. I am looking for the flexibility of the AR platform for stock lengths and the bolt action platform for loading quietly in a box blind or ladder stand. I also like the control of bolt action as he is learning to shoot.

Look at the Howa EXCL Lite. Also you could put a MDT or CLR chassis on a rifle

Get a regular bolt gun and put it in a chassis. There are several models that use AR stocks.
