My grandsons have been hunting with.my ar grendel with 3 whitetails and one javelin down, but I just remembered I've got a 300 savage in model 99 in the back of my safe. Thinking about breaking it out and mounting a scope on it for the biggest kid to try. I killed my first couple of deer with it way back in 61 and 62. I've got brass, bullets, powder, dies, and loading data from back then too.
