Rem 700 clone actions

I'm planning my first custom build and I can use my older Rem 700 PSS Ltr .308 as the basis but for the amount of money I'm going to have to spend I'm thinking why not start with an upgraded action.
What short action clone action would you suggest at a reasonable cost? This will be a integrally suppressed .308 hunting rig so I don't want a heavy weight bench rest style.

Not sure on an action but if you consider a full rifle I've really liked Fierce and Christensen

Mack Brothers has a reasonably priced action with a lot of good features and very smooth. 775.00 for a repeater stainless action and they are really nice for the money. My shooting buddy just got one in for a build he is doing. The also have a titanium action for 1299.00.

Bighorn Origin- plenty of good prefit options if you change your mind or conditions change.

I’d go with the Origin simply due to the availability of prefit barrels, but the Mack Bros Evo is a nice option as well.

Origin or Kelbly Atlas would be my suggestion for a lower cost action. Don’t be afraid to find a used action either. You can find some good deals if you keep an eye out.

Zermatt Origin actions are nice, especially with a floating bolt face that is interchangeable if you want to shoot different calibers on the same action. Atlas actions are nice to but they ain't worth 300.00 more than a Mack Bros, and I own an Atlas.

Integrals look cool, but there’s too many disadvantages for me to own one.

Almost all integrals are ported along the barrel starting at a very short length. Bleeding off pressure. That’s how they work.

I wouldn’t buy an integral that has ported barrel. Check out SWS in Stafford.
