Yeah, they will actually lay flat against the top of the scope. I just didn't lay them down in the pics.

Think I'm going to have to shorten the scope rail up a little. Eye relief is right on low power but when I turn it up to 14.5X, I have to scoot my head forward. I need to move the scope back about 1/2" or so but I can't.

I really didn't like the desert camo stock until it was completed. This gun looks good.

I hear ya. I just picked up a McMillan for a hunting rifle I am going to build at some point and I don't see what all the hoopla is about.
