Blackberry Picture Posting Test

I see a few peeps are able to post pics from the BB. Fill us in the secret because it aint happening for most of us. Here is another atempt.

What I do on mine is go through the photobucket app. I upload all my mobile pictures to it. Once it's uploaded, view the picture full screen, click the menu button and hit Copy to clipboard. From there it gives you 4 options to choose from, select the image (IMG) code.

Then on the Tapatalk app when replying, hit menu, then select Insert Image. Paste the image code there. It has worked for me the few times I've used it. Using a Bold 9700 on OS 6.0

Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. This route seems a little time consuming if I were to do a live hunt? I'm in my deer blind right now but will look into this when I get home.

Are you able to upload directly without pasting or using a photo editor or photo bucket? Meaning can you upload by just choosing "Add Attachment" and selecting photo from your blackberry files?
Several of us here would like to know the trick!

OK guys here is my best attempt to explain this. The way it was explained to me I'm sure was much better but I can't find it. Jon-Paul was the one that helped me.

Fist of all go to your Camera options and make sure you have chosen the size of your pics to be small.

When you want to post a pic hit the Post Reply button on the thread. Once you have done that click on the paperclip. You will then have the option to browse. On a torch once you hit the browse button it will give you two choices media card or device. I select Media card. From there I choose BlackBerry. That will take you to another set of options choose camera here and you should get to your saved pics. Choose your pic and it will place your pick next to the browse button. Then hit upload. This should do the the trick.

Once the pic uploads go to the bottom of the screen and hit close window. This takes you back to the thread and then you can manage your pics by selecting the paperclip again and placing your photo on the thread.

I was able to post from my old Curve as well and it was a little easier but the same basic steps are required. Sounds a little complicated at first but once you do a couple of times its not that bad. Just takes a little time. I hope this helps guys. Let me know how it goes.

Instead of a paper clip I have an option that says 'add attachment' then go through the steps that you have outlined. I get all the way to where I can see my pic attachment but don't know how to put the picture in my post? I don't see anything that will allow me to manage my picture(s) and placing them within my post?

Thats weird. Once I close the window where I uploaded the pic it takes me to the thread and I just hit hit the paperclip button again and click on my uploaded pic. Wherever my cursor was is where the pic shows up once I submit the post.

I know exactly what you are talking about and no, tapatalk does not show a paperclip where I can click on the attachment and it will show up within the post. This is where the problem is. I can see the attachment below my post but it doesn't give me the option to put it within my post. Kind of screwed up. I do appreciate you taking the time to help me out.

Once u hit manage attachments select the pic then hit save page address then hit the back button 3 times once ur back to the thread hit paste and there u go

Easy enough to do using a work around, but still not uploading directly as it should.
