i hate to admit...i did that once when i was in a hurry and not paying attention. but i only got about five feet from the pump before i realized it. i felt like an idiot. i then tried to reattach the hose and gas went everywhere.

I pulled out of a car wash pulling our boat and the pvc upright caught the nozzle and hose. Good thing they use quick-release plastic fittings. The guy at the car wash was just happy I brought it back - boy was I a little embarassed! Have seen this once or twice and it's a good laugh.
