The Tethrd platform I own, has started squeaking, it appears sound, but when weight is shifted, it squeaks. Anyone have noise issues with their platform? What would be possible causes?

I had (have) the same issue on my Predator. On mine, it’s the teeth of the upper stand-off squeeking against the (wet) wood of the tree on thin bark trees. I did a search last week and it seems to be a common issue primarily on older model Predator platforms. Some people seemed to think it’s because of camming over too tight, but I want mine tight.
A couple of “fixes” I saw were to use sandpaper to roughen up the teeth and/or use bow wax on the teeth (seems like a short term fix. A few people said the best fix was to sell it and buy a different one. LOL!
I sanded mine. I did a quick test on one of the same trees where I had issues and it seemed to work. Today was the first day I’ve really used it since, and I didn’t have any issues with it…but it’s a small sample size. -
