Add the limeade, tequilla and triple-sec, then the ice.
    Blend until desired consistancy

note: I just use the limeade can to measure the other, about a half can of each
Been using this method for a long time except I add 6 oz of tequilla and squeezw a fresh lime.

        Jalapeño Margarita

put on your list of 1000 things to try before you die

        1 jalapeño, sliced and de-seeded

1 1/3 cups tequila (something silver and good like Patron)

        1 cup triple sec*

1 cup fresh lime juice (10 limes)

        3 tablespoons superfine sugar

        kosher salt and ice

1)In a jar, steep the jalapeño and tequila WITHOUT SEEDS for 1 hour.

2)Strain the tequila into a large pitcher and discard the jalapeño.

3)Stir in the orange liqueur, lime juice and sugar.

4)Pour the salt and a small amount of the margarita onto 2 rimmed plates.

5)Dip the rims of 6 glasses into the margarita, then into the salt.

6)Fill each glass with ice, pour in the margarita and serve.

            Tequila
            Margarita Mix
            Ice
            Fresh Lime
            Salt on the rim

FRESCA SODA....add a good splash of this in there, my dad makes them like this. The fizz in it makes it good...try it I am hooked now.

My wife brought home one of those margarita buckets a few weeks back. You just dump in a bottle of white tequila (Jimador is good and inexpensive) and put it in the freezer over night. It thickens up but doesn't turn into a block of ice. They were surprisingly good.

I'm gonna have to add some amendments to the next batch. Some of the stuff suggested above sound great!

Something that I do: to get a "quick fix" without all the mixing and blending.

                1 12oz can of Sprite

                tequila to taste

                fresh lemon or line juice

Put ice in your glass, pour the tequila in (about 3 fingers), two squeezes of the juice and pour the Sprite in.

Stir real good and then enjoy! Then do it all over again.

                    brianlg31 just made the list!

once you get past the choice of tequila (stick with blue agave like Cazadores or Patron)

                    its the mix
