    Home made ice cream

    1/2 part whole milk (we use raw milk from our local dairy “Heritage farms”)

    1/2 part heavy whipping cream

    1/4 cup sugar per 2 cups of total product

    Vanilla and other flavorings to taste


    Mix it all together, put in an appropriate size ziplock, tap the top shut.

    Throw the bag in a bucket full of ice with 1-2 cups of water and salt the heck out of it..

    Shake until ice cream forms. If it has been more than 15 minutes of shaking and your ice cream isn’t firming, add more salt!!
