    Cheesy Potatoes . . .

    Scalloped Potatoes . . . . Suzy Lewis, 1 Jan 02

    1) Boil potatoes until tender
    2) Grate Cheddar cheese . . set aside - I don't see why "already grated" cheese wouldn't do! I use it!
    3) Mix 1/2 pint of sour cream, 1 pint of whipping cream, 1 stick of butter . . . set aside
    4) Slice one large onion, thin . . . set aside

In casserole dish place 1/2 onions on the bottom, then 1/2 of the potatoes, then 1/2 of the cheese . .
salt and pepper to taste, then add 1/2 of the sauce
    then do the other half
Put potato chips, cumbled, on top and bake till bubbly @350 degrees

One of my crews makes thier version of cheesy potatoes in the grill on the road. There recipe is 5 lbs sliced spuds, one pound butter, and one large box of mexican velveeta.

They put the spuds and butter in a foil pan covered for around one 30 pack then they add the velveta , salt and pepper and cover again untill melted.
It's pretty basic but youll keep coming back for more. I tried to get them to add onions and peppers but they say they cost to much
