    Quail Recipes?

I have about 30 quail in my freezer that I need to cook. I was wondering if any of you guys had any good recipes. I can always do the usual; jalepeno, BBQ and bacon on the grill but the misses would like to try something different. Any suggestions are appreciated.

I've browned them in a black iron skillet and then put the skillet in the oven with Cambell's Cream Chicken & Herbs @ 350 for about 1 1/2 hrs. Turns out pretty good.

Season them up with a little black pepper, garlic powder, and salt.

Melt two pounds of butter in a pot and about 4 cups of lemon juice, and 1 cup of honey.

Once you have that combined put the quali on the grill for about 5 minutes skin down to start. After 5 minutes dunk them in the mixture and return bones down. After they're done dunk them again and then shove them into your mouth!

Brown some maple flavored pan sausage, then mix small amount of cream cheese and chopped onions with sausage and stuff the body cavity with this mixture. Then wrap bacon around quail the grill or smoke until done!

Take a pair of game shears(scissors), split the quail down the breast, open them up, season to taste and roll in dry flour, dip in buttermilk then back in flour and deep fry!

A little olive oil, salt, and pepper on a grill. I also like when they are rubbed with BBQ sauce at the end of their grilling.

I like to marinate mine in tabasco before I season it.
