    Carnitas (slow cooked shredded pork)

    1 pork roast (butt or shoulder)
    1 package of taco seasoning
    3 cloves of garlic
    1 large onion(white or yellow) chopped
    1 can green chilies
    1 cup of water

    put all in crock pot for 6 hours on high or 10 hours on low

    ENJOY!

    wait till fully cooled to refrigerate or it will ruin.

        Just one package of taco seasoning? Is this the regular small package that does one pound of ground meat?

                            Did this last Friday. Muy bueno. Gonna introduce the dove hunting crew to it on opening weekend. Should be easy since all you need is tortillas and pico de gallo.

                              I'm fixing to try this with a beef roast since I already had one in the freezer so we will see how it turns out tomorrow
