    Backstrap?

I'm going to cook a couple of whole backstraps tomorrow on the pellet grill. Will butter fly them and add veggies. Any advice would be appreciated. This is my first time to try this.

    Wrap them in bacon.

The best advice I can give for grilling back strap is don’t over cook it. Medium rare is perfect to me.

Like said above just don’t over cook. I prefer rare but anything past medium rare is too much. Any way you prepare it or season it it will be good.

How to know when your steak or roast is rare, medium rare, medium, medium well. Steak temp for medium rare and other desired temps.

I pull backstrap at 125° and let it rest to get to medium rare.

Stuff with cream cheese and jalapenos, season with uncle chris steak seasoning.
