My BIL just brought me a leg of a Fallow deer that he killed. Is this good meat kind of like venison? Whats the best way to cook this, smoke, grill????

Fallow is a lighter meat than whitetail. Removing each muscle in the hindquarter, then slicing about 1 1/4" thick across the grain & wrapping each medallion with pepper bacon is always good.
FYI, they're in full rut right now, so soaking in buttermilk for a bit before cooking isn't a bad idea
