I followed Smart's recipe again, but this time with an adjustment....
Added one serrano and one habanero pepper. Not to be actually consumed. Not even by accident.
I cut each pepper in half, sliced both ends off each, and just dropped them in at the simmering stage. Peppers are large enough nobody will mistake them and consume.
Wow!!! I went too far. My scalp sweats just smelling the cooked chili. Going to freeze the remaining chili and later dilute with some milder chili when we thaw for future meal.
