    Venison Roast Souis Vide Style

Decided to try and Souis Vide cook a venison roast. Used a little salt and pepper and used a coffee rub on top of that. Put in the bag and added a few pats of butter. Put in the pot at 134 for four hours. Pulled and seared in a cast iron skillet with a little olive oil for a minute on all sides. Deglazed skillet with some wine and reduced and poured over sliced roast on the plate. Man I am telling you it was tender and perfectly cooked all the way through. If you have never tried this form of cooking you need to meats come out so tender and flavorful.

LOL That's good to know. Reading some of the stuff on here made me think one would need a masters degree from MIT to operate them.

To the OP that roast looks absolutely fantastic!
