When I was a little younger, we were on a lease in Del Rio with a bunch of my dad's coworkers and friends.

My dad's old boss (in his 80's) would fix a pot of pinto beans every weekend and would tell that same joke every time, like it was the first time anyone had heard it. And it never got old!

"Boy, when you wash them beans, you better make sure you count 239 beans! Has to be 239 exact!"

Aw, good! I'd never heard that joke until Cousin Billy offered us some soup after New Year's at his deer lease. When I told the kids the joke they kept telling me I'd said the "f" word, but they've sure enjoyed telling the joke themselves.
