    Just Grilled up some backstrap

    Learned I've always eaten venison over cooked and the last few batches have been awesome! Just brushing on olive oil and a mixture of spices including salt pepper garlic powder and a few others. Cook to medium rare. Went down nicely for lunch sitting on the back porch in this weather!

    Looks great! For some reason my dad always overcooked venison too and I didn't really care for it. Glad he finally got it figured out and now we love some medium rare straps! Can't beat this weather BTW.

                      Looks great! And I agree, Medium Rare is the way to eat venison. I like mine to still grunt when it hits the plate
