Well I've been taking down fence all day while the ribs were smoking. Finished just before the rain and now I'm having a cold beer waiting to tear into these.

That's a great deal. I hear ya. Sometimes I'll cookem without sauce. A buddy said HEB had prime briskets marked down yesterday but I didn't get a chance to go by and get one.

Did this too. HEB had them on sale also last Thursday.

I'm not big on the sauce either if I'm the cook. Higher risk for me to burn. OUr favorite is a 24 hour dry-rub with brown sugar carmelized over it before cooking.
