    smoking beef shoulder clod?

    my first try on smoking a 24 pound beef clod. looking at 20 + hrs cooking. any tips? thanks and happy 4th to all!

    Gosh, the shoulder is a delicious cut. I love it served on butcher paper and hot sauce with a good piece of bread. I cook mine on the pit with post oak and pecan. Take your time. That's all I got. Happy 4th!!!

          Had to look it up to see what a clod was. Looks like same cut as pork butt.

          Bet it will be good

            update turn out great for my first try! everyone love it. you brisket guys need to try one out. cook as if a pork butt. pull mine at temp 195. can get them at most mexican meat market. lots of video on how to do on you tube.
