pretty close to how we fix them at my house. I don't use the salsa though. For some reason my kids won't eat anything other than chips with something spicy...

We cut up carrots, bell pepper, onion, and sometime squash in pretty much everything we fix with ground meat. Especially spaghetti gets all the veggies mixed in.

Sometimes the only way to get a veggie in is to sneak it in. What they don't know will actually be pretty good for them.
