    Got a double recipe...probably closer to 2.5 ....in the stove those morning. Shot a young sow last week and got her deboned yesterday.

              Got some simmering now. My first try at this recipe. I used a backstrap from a sow I killed last Sunday. It might surprise some, but the backstrap is probably my least favorite part of a wild hog. Anyway , it seemed a little hot for my wife to eat, so I added some carrots to absorb some of the heat.

              Gave it some nice color as well. Can't wait until lunch time.
