    Pumpkin pie ice cream

In honor of the holidays I experimented with my ice cream recipe for the ffa booster concession. I was very happy with the outcome so here is the recipe for a 1 gallon ice cream freezer.

    6 eggs
    2 1/4 cups sugar
    Mix till smooth.
    3 pint cartons whipping cream
    3 tsp vanilla
15 oz can of puree pumpkin
    1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
Mix these into the eggs and sugar
Pour into the ice cream freezer and fill with milk to the fill line on your freezer, or 1/2 gallon of milk.

My wife loved it. If it wasn't for the booster club I'd eat all of it.

I grow commercial pumpkins as a side business and this even sounds good to me. After loading trailer load after trailer load of pumpkins since the 3rd week of September I'm usually pretty well sick of anything pumpkin related.

Never loaded pumpkins but if that's anything like watermelon it straight up sucks. I feel your pain buddy.
