When it's Bubbly. You don't want to burn(blacken) the cheese!! If you want to you can saute the chopped onion(and bell pepper if using) in butter before adding to the dish.

The chicken is already cooked, so done can be a variable thing. You are more heating everything through, cooking the peppers and onions, and letting all the flavors meld together.

Nacho cheese Doritos in the bottom is the way to go. I think it's a better winter dish, but it's good stuff.

That's the truth. I should have looked for this around 3 today. Something to look forward to tomorrow.

Only thing different I do is sauté the onions, add a little sour cream, and I also use crushed Doritos. All is good though!

I'll do my best to get you one. John Bonnell (anyone from Ft. Worth knows whom I am talking about) has the best recipe out in a cook book that I bought. His recipe calls for everything to be fresh and from scratch (nothing from a can). I personally haven't tried it but since it is one of Bonnell's, I am willing to bet that it is great.

Velveeta cheese is the way to go, you can also spoon the sauce over spaghetti!

Ok I made this stuff and put half nacho cheese doritos in it and half tortillas and my tongue almost beat me to death because it was so good. My only problem was that I ate it too soon after it came out of the oven. I should have waited a while to let it thicken up some, and not be so runny
