I made these for the wife and myself tonight. This was my first attempt at making a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. Here's how I did it:
1) Slice 1 onion and half of each of a red, orange and yellow bell peppers.
2) Caramelize onion in balsamic vinegar & set aside.
3) Do the same to the bell peppers, but in olive oil instead of BV.
4) Slice venison backstrap into thin slices, cut against the grain. Brown in olive oil until cooked. Add seasonings (Tony's, garlic powder, seasoned salt and Worcester Sauce.
5) Combine everything.
6) Take whatever kind of bread you're going to use, slice it in half and add some grated cheese (your preference).
7) Top it with a bunch of the meat/veggies. Close the sucker up and enjoy!
I must say, this was very easy and quite tasty. I do believe I'll be fixing this again.
