This is great. Has the crawfish boil seasoning in it. I've tried alot of different one's and made my own and like this one best so far. Use fresh fish and have had 3 people that don't like fish eat mine everytime.
We have been cooking some this year and the last one we just did, we added the Panko to our cornmeal. We also let ours rest on an elevated rack to help get it crispier and it worked like a charm!
I've recently stumbled upon a batter that consists of flour, spices and club soda. It creates a liquid "beer battered" type of dip that really sticks to the fish well.
Reminds me of a Long John Silvers consistency, golden color and nice and crispy. I, myself, made only about 4 filets and used 1/2cup of flour (or corn flour) and 3/4cups of club soda. Spices I usually just sprinkle as desired, but it consisted of onion powder, white pepper, salt, garlic powder, paprika and some Season All. You'd have to adjust the measurements accordingly, but give it a try!
