This basically how I learned from my mother.

      Exceptions:
-we use 1 french vanilla pudding mix and 1 vanilla pudding mix
-i always let it sit overnight, i like my wafers softer

I made it as it was good.I didn't think I was going to like it cause I could taste the artificial banana from the pudding mix. After it sat all night in the fridge I believe the artificial flavor was overwhelmed by all the real bananas in the pan. However, the next time I am going to use vanilla pudding mix instead and mix in two real bananas into the pudding mixture. I will let you know how it turns out. I am just a freak about artificial banana flavor. It was however very good and I am going to try this to make it great! At least in my eyes!

Having to fight my wife & daughter over it
Thanks for the recipe but not so much for the five extra pounds I'll put on

Grandma's banana pudding is good enough to drive the 4 hours.

I used this recipe for the hunt club and man it was a hit. Everytime those boys see me they ask for Banana puddin.

Made it last night along with T-bones, baked potatoes & asparagus. It is delicious. I used vanilla pudding instead of BP. My boys loved it! Thanks for sharing.
