Going to try this one out tomorrow. Made a couple of adjustments in ingredients….will add 2lbs ground axis, cilantro and stuff in pic.

How'd it go with the refried beans? I've always seen folks use whole beans and not mashed ones in soups.

It thickened it up a bit, closer to a chili consistency. I didn’t plan to eat it over tortilla chips, so I preferred a bit thicker. It was really good…. I’ll throw this one in the rotation.

Made this again last night but this time used "hint of chile lime" tositos for my chip base. Slap ya momma!
