One more question PBF - My whole house STILL smells like beans! I mean, they smell great, but I'm surprised it's still lingering this long. How long can we expect this to last? It makes me feel hungry constantly!

I have no idea how long the smell will last. I never really paid attention to it amigo.
Brought the goodies to work..minus the can of brew
Soaked them in water overnight so they only took 6hrs. It was gone in minutes. I heard "man what smells good" 10000 times before lunch
So what is the advantage of soaking the beans overnight ?
Does it just decrease cooking time?
If you dont have 3 hours to devote to these, a pressure cooker will get you there in well under an hour. Cook on high pressure for around 22-25 minutes, then cool via quick release. Makes these a viable weeknight option if you dont have much time. If you planned ahead and soaked your beans, you only need 4-6 minutes cooking time at high pressure.
I am always amazed at what pressure cookers can do.
