How many pounds of beans do you use per batch

I use a 2 lb bag and a 16 oz bud. I like to let the beans soak up all the bud, then start the cooking.

Sweet I have them soaking now, as well as chicken leg quarters in brine, about to go on the smoker

If you're cooking more than a standard bag of pintos than I'd say add a little more.

If a standard size bag is less than 4# I would like to know how much it weighs?
