    Fresh Peach Preserves

    Blanch your peaches then chill in ice & water. Once cool peel peaches and 1/4. Take 8 cups(bout 4 lbs) in pot and add 2 Tblp of lemon juice and 1 box of pectin/sure-jel. Bring to a boil and stir in 7 cups of sugar. Return mixture to rolling boil and hold for 1 minute stirring constantly. Ladel hot mixture into HOT jars. Add seals and rings, water bath for 10 minutes.

                            Very jealous! My mawmaw use to make all different kinds of preserves but now she isnt able to do so because of where she lives. When things get uncrazy for me i am gna give this a shot, thanks for the details
