    Deer Sausage S.O.S.

    3Tbs butter
    3Tbs flour
    2 ish cups of milk

    1 ring cooked, chopped deer sausage

    bread for toast.

    Melt butter in a sauce pot, add flour to make a light roux. Cook a couple min on med heat. Add milk, stir till thick. Add sausage. Reduce heat to low. Season as needed/if needed with salt & pepper.

    Spoon liberally over toast.

    Eat, enjoy.

    Repeat.

        This would be insane on biscuits.

        That may be this weekend.

        Literally a 10 min meal if you cook the sausage the night before.

          As a variation of this, try slicing a boiled egg (or two) on top of the toast, then add the gravy, and top with crumbled pieces of crisp bacon. Also, try using toasted english muffin instead of toast - my favorite.

                tastes nothing like it, however.
