Looking to pickle some okra and pickles this year, what's yalls best recipes if ya don't mind sharing?

My grandmothers recipe is

3 cups water
1 cup vinegar
1/3 cup salt

Boil, fill jars with cucumbers, onion, dill, peppers, garlic. Fill with boiling brine. Top off with a little alum for crunchy pickles. Boil bath for 3-5 minutes
