    Cheese Gurus

    I've been taking advantage of this cold weather and smoking cheese. Any suggestions on a recipe that utilizes gouda or havarti?

    I just smokes some sharp cheddar. I smoked it too long so it pretty strong. I think I'll just buy it from now on.

      I'm not gonna lie. I like it a little stronger. In fact most use something milder but I use mesquite.

          Let it temper for a few weeks before you try it.

          I smoked some butter last weekend, took the big chunk of the Amish butter and made 4 sticks and smoked it 2 hrs. It is tempering now in the frig.
          I use it for alfredo sauce and anything that I cook with butter.
