    Breaded and Fried Blue Crab

My wife's family is from LA and those folks will fry anything. Last night we got on the subject for the 30th time, My objection has always been - what does the breading add? Well we did it tonight and it really was good.
Next time I will greatly increase the spices in the breading, and tonight we did it the way you would do fried chicken.
We also made 4 crab cakes.

Guess I should give the basic recipe. Feel free to add and change.

        Live Blue Crabs
        Remove top and internal stuff.
2 eggs and 2 cups of milk with one cup of water - whisk
3 cups cornmeal 1 flower - - - mix in tons of spices: pepper - garlic powder - salt - Blaze - etc.... etc.... etc...
roll in wet stuff - roll in dry stuff
Fry in enough greese where you do not have to turn them over {just 4ish minutes} till they are brown
        Enjoy

So I'll be the one to ask a dumb question. Do you eat the shell?? Or are you still cracking them and pulling the meat out?

Try throwing them on the grill with a good Cajun seasoning and garlic butter.

I had some soft shell crab, actually watched it complete it she’d or whatever you call it, pulled em out of the water and his mom put em in a pan of grease. The whole crab was literally floppy. When it was done she made a sandwich outta them. Was the best crab I’ve ever had. I worked with a guy from Maryland down here that still orders crabs from up there. Great job Danger!
