Simple, Kid Friendly Venison Chili Recipe??

Help me out y'all please. My daughter will eat salsa, but usually my chili is too hot for her. Any good ones that are simple? I usually just use the 2 Alarm, or False Alarm. Don't hate. Thanks!!

I have my own receipe and sometimes use Wick Fowlers but both are usually a little warm for the kids. I used a new one the other night called Carroll Shelby's Texas Brand Chili. I threw some bush pintos in with it and it was pretty good and not hot at all. The kids liked it. I bought it at HEB but I think Walmart carries it as well.

I use the McCormicks chili seasoning for my chili. Follow the recipe for mild. Add cayenne/jalapeño/habanero to kick it up

Try the false alarm with 2 cans tomato sauce and 2 cans diced tomatoes. not hot and pretty tasty. my kids love it. I throw in a jalepeno or two and squeeze the juice into my bowl for more heat.

I use Carrol Shelbys chili mix. It comes with seperate packages of chili powder so you can add it or not.

I used that one tonight. It was okay. Still not quite what I'm after. Any homemade recipes?

No, I guess we will have to come up with our own.

very quick and tasty. Brown a pound of ground deer meat. Cut small to medium onion and throw it in there. Cook till transparent. Throw in 2 packs of common Taco Seasoning mix (McCormick?). Throw in 2 cans of Ranch Style beans. Heat it up and chow down. We like it with over rice sometimes. Not hot at all but seasoned good.

I've been eating Caroll Shelby's most of my life. Mix it with some mac n cheese and the kids will tear it up....guaranteed

My wife is very sensitive to spice/hot and I have found a GREAT mix that isn't too hot but still has great taste/texture...It's really simple to make and is ready in 20 minutes...much better than Wick Fowler, etc...It's made here in Texas...

Here is the one my wife makes. Not hot at all especially if you leave out the green chilis but its not really hot with them.

                          1lb ground
                          1/2 med onion - diced
1/3 of 4 oz can diced green chilis (freeze rest in 2 small containers)
1 - 15oz can diced tomatoes including liquid
1 - 15oz can red kidney beans - rinsed and drained
1 - 15oz can pinto beans - rinsed and drained
                          1 - 8oz can tomato sauce
                          2 T chili powder
                          1/2 T ground cumin
                          1 tsp salt
                          1/2 tsp ground black pepper
                          1/4 tsp garlic powder
                          1 cup water

In dutch oven or large pot brown ground over med heat and break into small pieces. Drain when mostly cooked. Add onion and continue cooking thoroughly. Add all other ingredients. Stir to combine thoroughly. Bring to simmer and reduce heat to low for 1 hour stirring occasionally.

I think I will be trying this one tonight and use some ground deer meat, great weather for chili!
