    Ideas for ground pork!!

And recipes if you have them!
We have a good batch of ground pork, and we don't need to make sausage, we have so much link sausage.

We do mix it with venison when making spaghetti or something similar, and have made pork burger steaks.

We don't eat starchy food too often in our house, very little pasta or potatoes.

I haven't tried making chorizo yet, but it is on the list. Also mixing it into meat loaf and making meatballs with a deer/pork mixture is onthe table.

Any ideas on what else I could do?

Mix it 75% pork and 25% bacon ends, season as you wish for meatleaf. I think you will be surprised how good a meatloaf it makes. I sure was.

Just make pan sausage! We made 200 lbs. last week, using 60/40 pork to
venison. Uses are endless from there. We made 1/2 regular and 1/2 jalapeno
and cheese and are set for the year!

In our house, it is hard to beat Jimmy Dean for breakfast sausage. We have tried different varieties but we love Jimmy Dean!
          Thanks for the ideas!
          Keep them coming!

Looking for ideas other than breakfast!

Pork Bomb. Take a couple pounds of ground pork and put it on wax paper. Shape into a rectangle approx. 3/4" thick. Season it with your favorite spices and layer onions, mushrooms, jalapenos and pepper jack cheese( or whatever you want) on top of the rectangle and use the wax paper to roll it up. Make a bacon weave and wrap the ground pork roll. Throw it on the smoker for 4 hours or so about 225-250 degrees. It's awesome. You can probably google "pork bomb" and come up with an exact recipe with steps.

When I initially grind my wild hog, I usually add ground hamburger (about 5 or 6 to 1 ratio), then use the ground pork the same as with any recipe that calls for hamburger. Better taste, leaner, and very little shrinkage.

Meat pies are worth the carbs.

not sure ground would work but with leftover smoked quarters we would pull it all apart, dice, throw in the food processor and shred to a chopped beef consistency and make 'chopped' pork sandwiches...

                          boudin balls....mmmmmm

Blake, you forgot the rice dressing! Not even going to try to match the pics!

These days, most of my wild hog gets course ground for chili. In my opinion, it makes a better chili than venison or beef. My wild hog chili won second place in a little local chili cookoff last spring. No one knew what meat was in it until after the judging. True, there were only about a dozen entries, but still.
