I am looking for a really good (dip) hot sauce recipe that I can use my vine ripe tomatoes and fresh jalapenos in. Your recipe will be much appreciated. Thanks Jeff

are you looking for a "hot sauce" like Tabasco , or a salsa type sauce ?
hot sauce is usually made with peppers, salt, and vinegar thats sealed and aged for a few yrs.
be more specific and we'll come to your rescue and help ya out -

Salsa
Chop tomatoes to the size chunks you want.I make mine fine but not mush.
5 qts tomatoes
2 cups jalapeno (I use San Marcos band mild and devained) spicy but not hot
1 cup vinagor
2 sweet onions
1/2 cup sugar
2 tsp salt
2 tsp garlic salt
Bring to a boil and boil for 30 minutes.Then place in jars while hot and seal lids tight.They will create there own vacume.Comment
