2 lbs ground venison chili or beef
1/2 lb diced venison or beef tips
1 lrg onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, chopped
2 23 ox cans of ranch style beans
1 8 oz can tomato sauce
1 can water (from tomato sauce can)
1 6oz can tomato paste
1 can water (from tomato paste can)
2 heaping Tablespoons chili powder
2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
Black pepper- to taste
Cayenne Pepper- to taste
Brown ground venison/beef, venison tips, onion, & garlic. Add beans, tomato sauce, water, tomato paste, and water. Then add spices and simmer 3 hours. Will keep in the fridge for 4-5 days. Perfect for freezing!
This is a simple easy and very yummy recipe that my aunt has made since I was a little girl. Its really good with mexican rice or tamales. Try it, I dont think you will be disappointed.
