In need of a good sausage ball recipe...

...having a luncheon at work next week and was thinking of what I could do with some spicey venison pan sausage. Was thinking sausage balls but don't have a good recipe. Thanks in advance.

    Here ya go:

    16 oz Pork/deer Sausage
    3 cups of bisquik mix
16 oz. (4 cups) shredded sharp Cheddar or Jalapeno Jack cheese
1/2 cup finely chopped seeded fresh jalapeno peppers
    1/2 cup finely chopped onion
    2 teaspoons minced garlic
    1 teaspoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon cayenne pepper

    Directions

Preheat oven to 375 F. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl; stir well. Form into 1" balls. Place sausage cheese balls on ungreased baking sheet; bake 18-20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove sausage cheese balls from oven; cool 5 minutes before removing from pan.

I make these alt for Christmas.

Thanks Ragin...those sound good. Being the venison/pork sausage I have is already spicy, I may half the jalepenos and cayenne. Thanks again.
