    Fried Pickles ~ Beer Battered

    Finally found a batter recipe that will stick to pickles! And it taste good!!!


    1 cup warm beer
    1 tsp black pepper
    1 tsp Barnicle Dust
    1 tsp Tony's
    1 tsp garlic powder
    2 eggs
    1 1/8 cup flour
    hamburger dill slices

    Mix all ingredients except pickles
    Drain desired amount of pickles that you want to eat.
    Drop handful of pickles in batter
    Drop battered pickles in hot Fry Daddy.
    Cook till desired crispiness.

    I like mine dipped in Ranch dressing.

    Anything with Beer and Barnacle Dust has gotta be muy bueno! Bet this will work good with Japs as well. Will try at the lease next weekend.

            It is a seasoning made down in South Texas by one of our members and I think is still an Associate Sponsor.

            It is a very good spice! Goes well with Bloody Mary's!

                        Very similar to the batter I use. I always dry my pickles out well before frying them, it helps the batter stick. I also throw a few jalapeno's in there as well, just as a little treat/surprise. good stuff.

                          Ive used mustard before.. it sticks pretty wel and allows the flour to stay on... I liked them anyways!!

                            I have had these before in a small town called Marlin. I have never seen them anywhere else, but they were awesome. It sounded so weird at the time. I will be giving these a go. Thanks for posting.
