    Mexican Cornbread

    1 lb ground meat
    1 package of taco seasoning
1 can diced rotel / mild
    2 packages cornbread
    1 cup milk
    1 egg
    1 can cream style corn
    cheddar cheese

Brown ground beef, drain. Add taco seasoning and rotel to meat, mix well!

Mix together cornbread, milk, egg and cream style corn.

Put 1/2 of cornbread mixture in a 9 x 13 pan that has been sprayed with pam or lightly greased. Layer meat mixture, put grated cheese on top of that, then layer rest of the cornbread mixture on top of this.

Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown!

THIS RECIPE IS REALLY FROM SOLOCAM AND STEF_8 BUT THEY STILL DON'T HAVE INTERNET .

I wonder how this would come out in a dutch oven? I bet it would work great.

Thanks for sharing - since I'm snowed in without cornbread mix, I'll just have to look at these pics and drool. Dang if that last picture doesn't look really good right now!

Q: what do you get when you put mexican cornbread into a dutch oven?

                A: [insert punchline here]

I make this and cook it in a cast iron skillet but I add Jalapenos to it.
