    crockpot pulled pork

    1tablespoon veg oil
    2 med onins, finley chopped
    6 garlic cloves, minced
    1 tablespoon chili powder
    1 teaspoon cracked black peppercorns
    1 bottle heinz 57 chili sauce
    1\4 cup packed brown sugar
    1\4 cup cider vinegar
    1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce
    1 teaspoon liquid smoke
    3lb pork trimed of excess fat, can be whole shoulder or pieces
    buns


    In a skillet heat oil, add onions and cook till soft. Add garlic,chili powder and pepper and cook stirring for a minute or so. Add chili sauce brown sugar, vinegar, worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke. Stir to combine and bring to a low boil. Place pork in crockpot stone ware and pour sauce over. Cover and cook on low for 10-12 hrs or on high for 6, until pork falls apart. Transfer pork to a large cutting pork and pull the meat apart using 2 forks. Return meat to the sauce and mix up, serve on bun.
    If ya hunt where elect. is available, make sauce up and take with you.

        Nice. I made pulled pork in the crockpot last night....Gonna try your recipe next time.

          Thanks for the recipe. I tried it last weekend and the family loved it. It will definetely be on the menu at deer camp this year.
