My Son's Hunt at Bar J Day Hunts

My 10 year old son wanted to go on a Ram Hunt for his BDay/Christmas Present this year. After looking and asking around we decided on Bar J. We had a really good time. Barry Sr. was our guide/host and he went above and beyond my expectations to help us. The lodge/house is really nice and it was a great place for the family. The good fishing was a big bonus for my son.

We saw a lot of hogs, rams, goats, black buck, Axis, whitetail and some Aoudad. The elevated bow blinds were really nice to hunt out of as well.

My son ended up taking a nice ram and he is already trying to figure out how he can go back again on an Aoudad or Axis hunt.

My family and I came away with a great experience and nothing but good things to say about the place.
