Place to sling an arrow or few?

Never been on any type of exotic or ram hunt. Would like to find a starter type hunt to get my feet wet in it. Trying to find somewhere reasonably priced with a fair chance to sling an arrow on something. Not picky on species and doesn't have to be trophy class since I'm just starting out. Thanks

I'm in the same boat. Are any of these places or any others near Houston?

                      Try threefingers in Fairfield/Teague.

Your expectations are perfect for it. Not super trophy class, but you will see animals and Ben is a good dude. Havent been since the bunk house was built, but me and a buddy had a real good time.

The bunk house consists of a piece of land right next door to the ranch Ben bought. It has a three bedroom prefab house on it. Usual amenities, full bath, kitchen, laundry, television in living areas. There is a covered pavilion out front with grills and a fire pit. A barn is there and as usual, targets for practice. If you schedule a hunt I promise you will have fun, have shot ops and eat well. Ben and crew will drink a beer with you and make sure your group has a great stay.
